Jesse&Coyotes (Finland)

„Jesse & Coyotes” rides from Vaasa Finland`s West Coast and Ostrobothnian region where „the sea is near and fields like in Texas” – they say! „Jesse & Coyotes” sprung originally from Mike Matthews Band. Mike, born in Boonville (Indianapolis), was living and working in Vaasa in 2005 - 2006 and music came with him - easy to understand as he was born into the cradle of bluegrass. Mike and Jesse (now lead singer in the band) got to know each other when making a few demos, mainly their own songwriter style music, but in December 2005 they gathered some musicians living in Vaasa for a studio session. The session was the start for the band Coyotes.

„Jesse & Coyotes” music is mainly of the trad/country mood, but also has its „other side" - a rougher feeling with distorted sounds.
