George Hamilton V and COLORADO Band first met in 1996 on the “COUNTRY KONVOY” Nationwide Tour of Poland.

Since then, George V & COLORADO Band have made two cross-country tours of Poland and performed at many other Polish Concerts & Festivals, including the “Country PIKNIK” at Mragowo, Poland. They headlined the “Visagino Festival” in 2000. In 2007, George V & COLORADO Band headlined the “Sunflower Festival” in Kaunas, Lithuania.  

 Together they received an award for “BIGGEST EVENT OF 2000” from the Polish CMA. They have performed many concerts across Poland, Lithuania and Slovakia. George V became the FIRST American to record a full-length CD with a Polish Band in Poland. For this CD, George V & COLORADO Band received the “ALBUM OF THE YEAR” Award from the Polish Country Music Association in 2004.  In 2007, they release the FIRST Country Music DVD by Country Group in Poland.

 George Hamilton V has headlined the massive annual Polish “COUNTRY PIKNIK” in Mragowo more times than any other American artist. Two times he has been honored to perform with COLORADO Band at the PIKNIK. In 2004, COLORADO Band’s Leszek Laskowski, ‘Polish King of Steel’, traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to play Steel Guitar with George V at the Grand Ole Opry®.
